hi ive done a quick search and cant find the answer i need ,im changing my air cleaner set up on my 08 softy and am wondering what needs to be done to the vaccuum hose that controls the butterflys on the charger , do i just cut it and block it off?

Two options.
Remove tank and do properly; or
(Cut if necessary), block and hide under tank

it looks like the nipple the hose plugs onto screws in, I might be able to get it out and screw a bolt in there ?

Or you could just put a staight joiner in it where the tee piece is

is no tee piece comes straight out of the thing

Just pul the hose off the fitting in the manifold and put a vacuum plug on it instead of the hose you get different size plugs in a small packet from repo or any good auto shop just use a thick one not the thin shit super cheap sell or screw bolt into the vacuum hose till you get plug 

yeh I thought of vacuum plugs when I went to bed last night , off to repco this morning
