Hi all,

Just noticed a problem that's been creeping in on my FXDX, when I'm turning at the lights I get a feeling from the rear that the swing arm is not connected to the frame i.e. it tucks under the bike.

I'm used to this as I've got a '52 Norton model 7 with a plunger frame, but i don't expect it with the Harley.

I've checked the rear tyre pressure, wheel bearings, swing arm bearings  and had a good look around the swingarm mount on the gearbox with a strong light, in fact everything short of using some fluorescent dye and a UV light to check for gearbox cracks.

Could it be rear engine mounts?
