Ride starts in Mansfield Victoria
Warm weather and clear skies motivated an enthusiastic group of motorist to polish up their machines for the 3rd Annual Round the Lake Run, on Saturday 12th September. A large array of machines including motorcycles and cars turned out to support the Mansfield Chapter of the American Motorcycle Club’s fund raiser. This years profits were donated to the Mansfield Girl Guides to help fund their trip to the Jamboree later this year. Meeting in Mansfield the group travelled to Molesworth, then onto Eildon pondage for lunch. Traversing the scenic Eildon – Jamison road the group stopped in Jamison for a short break, followed by the last stop at “the shed” for a night of entertainment by band “Toe Jam” who’s mixture of classic rock and blues kept everyone's feet tapping. On Sunday morning a cheque for $4000 was presented by Robert“Mossy”Moss and members of the MAMC, to the Girl Guides representatives Leader Judith Falcke , Leader Sylvia Tyers and Girl Guide Tiffany Ryan. The MAMC would like to thank our members for their tireless efforts, and our many supporters including Alpine Butchers and Foodworks. Once again you have helped us , help our community. We are very happy with the amount of money raised.
