Got my new 2013 Harley Fatbob 103 sorted. A few small upgrades have given this bike some pock. Stage 1 kit with 54H Andrews Cams, Fully remapped and Dyno. Max Torque 108.11 and Max Horsepower 93.13. Progressive Suspension in the front have and Freedom pipes have given this Harley full use of the front and rear tyre. Much better road manners. My mate decided he didn't want to be left out after riding mine so he got himself a Limited Edition Sportster 1200. It goes like stink with a Stage 1 kit, Freedom pipes. So here's the video, "Ridden in anger'.

How good is a Sportster, Old mate just got the bike with no history attached so from what we can see and hear it lookes like a Stage 1 upgrade as been done. This bike goes like a scolded cat. You would be disapointed in your Fatbob 103 if you thought you could leave a Sportster behind, even with the few upgrades I've done to my bike [pipes.tuner, air filter, remapped, dyno, Andrews 54h cams, other bits] in a straight line the Sportster just had the edge. In the corners the Fatbob was all over the Sportster and I could have easily passed him in the corners. With ground clearance issue's and getting used to this new toy, what would be a good upgrade for my mate's Sportster to get the clearance through the corners ''Speedzter''? On the Fatbob I did the Progressive heavy duty front suspention and changed the pipes for better clearance maybe old mate might need something more.

The big FJR 1300 Sports tourier definitely has some legs. I thought we might do a drag race with the three bikes on a video in the future for a bit of fun. May have to let down the tyres on the FJR before we start  paulybronco. That offer is still open to cut a video with you through the hills.smiley

Thanks for the feedback His going to do the first service on it and find out a little more about this model and what the previous owner has done, then save up for those upgrades to suspension. The joys of Harley's. The FXDF front fork seals where leaking and under warranty the shop replaced them. In that process i just got the heavier springs. That greatly inproved the front end, The Freedom pipes gave me 10mm more clearance on the right and the firmest setting at  the rear is just enough. Down the track i will look at a better set up for the rear or just replace the front pegs and leave it. I have the edge of the front and rear tyres and the bike tracks well through the corners. Good enough, Thanks again Speedzter.

Mate, thats wicked, thanks for sharing, both bikes would require a rider with dirty big balls, they'd probably to be held in the Sydney Opera House.
