i recently got a second hand sportster with the standard 3.3 gal tank, they fuel sensor is broke, roughtly how many kms should i be getting out of a tank with standard commuting?

On my 883L the low fuel light comes on at around 160km. I often take her up to 200km before filling up, but any higher and she looks like she would be running on fumes.

On my Sporty I used to own, I had the 17lt tank, Low fuel light would come on around 225/230km mark. But I would get 270km to 300km sitting on 100/110km/h. on trips

I do 90km a day x 5 days a week, for my work commute and fill up every 2nd day @ about 180km on the odometer. 80% of this is on the freeway running at 100kmh to 110kmh.

I have kept a track of my mileage/fuel since I got her 5 months ago and she is running at 48 miles per gallon or 20km/L (based upon about 8,500km traveled). In theory I could go 240Km on a tank (assuming you can actually run it right to zero), but according to the logs I have only maxed out at 203km on a tank - it then took 10.5L to fill so she had 1.5L left.
