G'day everyone, I ride a 93 Heritage Softail now the bars on my bike are Heritage bars but at times on some rides I seem to get pain in my shoulder worse on windy days and I feel maybe the bars are to high on my bike.

I have now ordered a set of 8 inch T bars should have them next week and I have never used these sort of bars on any of my bikes but a few people have told me that maybe I should of gone to 10 inch or higher bars.

Ok so when the bars arrive I will try them and if they don't work well at least I gave it a try but my question is who here is using 8 inch T bars and are you happy with them comfort wise and if you had to fit T bars again would you have gone to a higher bar cheers.

I've recently fitted 8" chubbies on my Dyna. I had already changed from standard to 7" T bars, but felt they weren't quite high enough or back enough and I felt they were too wide. The ones I fitted are an extra inch higher, an inch narrower and slightly further back and makes a huge difference to comfort. You don't need to make huge changes to really feel a difference. The only downside if you are like me and fit the wrong ones first up is it is a fiddly prick of a job to change them again.
