I put these on my 2011 Fatboy and was very happy with them over the stock setup, might want to ring Rollies

and see what they can do on the price.

Got them on my 08 Fxstc ... got the set with the remote preload adjuster ... haven't had air ride so can`t really compare but they were a definitely a improvement on the stockers and with the remote adjuster made it real easy for 2 up riding to smooth out those bumps with the extra weight .

Got mine through M & M Cycles out of Ohio back when the dollar was pretty good ... Far Far Cheaper than anyone local sad to say ... Griffin Cycles here in Australia are a Sister site to the Ohio site ... might be worth giving them a go if the overseas prices are shit with the dollar conversion at the moment .

I went with the heavy duty, but I am 120kg, a mate had the same and he is around 80kg (Chriso) and he didn't like them (to stiff) he should have got

    the softer shocks.

Steve I have had the Non Remote 422's on my FXST since end 2011. Best thing I had done. The remotes come out a month later ( I wished I waited) Rollies in Brisbane are good on price at the moment as they import them. They were going to be cheaper than MCAS, and same as M&M del to my door. ( for the Progressive Cartridge Fork springs)
I have the normal Not heavy duty. I was 97kg now 105kg, still work great loaded for a TRIP.

I have the Heavy Duty Springs in mine ... being a light weight 145 Kg's , Lol ... they seem to suit me well .

Have heard the lighter springs are better for the more feather weight riders around Aus. ... i wish i was one of them .

    Hey all,

I have recently just fitted Shotgun Shock to my Softail Breakout....wow what a difference having teh air ride...fun to when you park & slam it down.

You can adjust the height and also preload...

    Great product

Go the "Shotguns". I think JD in the states does a good deal if you go direct and can handle the fitting job yourself. Great bit of gear especially if you swap between solo, 2up or loading up with gear, freeway riding to bouncing around the outback!
