G'day,
thought id share some updated pics of my night train so far.
got the screamin eagle cleaner fitted on my first service a few weeks back. bought some short shots from rob cycle and got a fuelshot gen 3 to manage it all.
the fuelshot arrived yesterday and i origanally booked it in to get fitted by people who had the tools and new what they were doing. but i couldnt wait a couple weeks looking at it while i hummed around with the stock exhaust.
so i took a list to bunnings and grabed all the tools needed and i had a crack it me self.
5 hours later, sweatin and swearing i managed to put it all together. it was easier than i thought, it only took so long cause i have sexy hands and everything i touch i fuck it. but in the end it turned out sweet and sounds and runs like magic.
dont know what i was trying to do here
the end result for now.
Very nice, and by the seat of your pants, how much extra mumbo have you got now?
very nice mate... took me around 5 hours too... most of that was stuffing around trying to find a place for thePCIII
Can I have details of the air filter... specifically the cover.. go well on my Bob
got the air filter cover from lucky dog in the states. heres the link to em-
www.luckydog13.com/parts.html
its the 5.5' disc, can get it gloss black or crome aswell. simply bolts on replacing the stock football. I reckon its great, shows more of the motor than the footy.
probably could make one ya self cheaper , but i couldnt be fucked. good service and it only took about a week to get here.
cheers
cheers mate... was going to get black wrinkle oval and customise but will go the imported unit.
good looking bike mate.
i like the air filter. it suits the bike well.
lowering is definitely on the cards for the future, and the rest. just ordered the quiet baffles for the short shots, hopeing to tone down the high pitch crackle. they are fucken loud comin straight from stock pipes.
Looks great, I actually like the short shots in black, didn't think I would but they look cool. I have just returned from 4 weeks off and managed to see my NT that I am picking up in January. Got some photo's of me, the missus and the kids on the bike (not all at once though). Got to say they are a great bike.
