Sorry for a pretty basic question but how the hell to you remove the polished dome covers off a BDL open drive Evo 9S. Is there anyway of getting these off without stuffing them.  I assume you might use a heat gun or something to loose the tape behind it but will that stuff the covers ?  Cheers

Not Sure about BDL cover, But i made my own when i ran a three inch open belt primary on a Shovel it bolted on. mine still doing the job all these years after making it, 

i would expect bolt on maybe bolted to bearing support behind clutch, has your set up got outside bearing support? that's a bearing support outside clutch?
