In desperate need of help! My bike has been in an accident but not a heavy one, I've replaced the tank fork legs, injectors, O2 sensors, crank position sensor and a few other minor things, it will take a good 6 seconds to actually kick over when it's cold, when it's running its on very low revs and after about 10 seconds it will die in the ass!  When I start it and I keep a bit of revs on it for about a minute the bike will idle like normal and will ride like normal too ! There are no fault codes showing at all, could it be any problems inside the motor? Or electrical need help have asked Harley they raised their eye brows so I told them not to bother they clearly had no idea

Any info would be helpful thanks blokes

Bike should really start right up when it's cold. It is 2015.

If your Harley shop does not know then it is a "FUCKED SHOP" and you would be better off taking it somewhere where common sense is used. And keen mechanics employed.

    G'day Andruski,

This is out of left field, Check your fuel pump & pressure.  Not sure if this affects your Breakout, but there is a known issue on some CVO's of the fuel pump leaking pressure out and causing similar symptoms that you describe.

Fuel Pressure should be close to 60psi, but if the pump is leaking pressure you may have less than half of this and it causes hard starting, poor power and stalling.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Pete

So are you saying that the bike was not insured and you have replaced the damaged items yourself?. And now its not running right?.
You are asking the bike shop for assistance so you can try fix it yourself, but they have no idea until they actually have the bike and can look at it?.
What sort of accident requires new injectors and o2 sensors and crank sensor? Did some mongrel one cut the wiring to these? Impact or scratches for tank and forks obviously.
Sounds like somebody damaged it. Tell us the story and give us the full picture of whats going on. Oh and some pics and an intro is on the cards also to keep everyone happy. Cheers Hutch

IAC valve is a possibility yeah.

clean it by spraying some brake or carb cleaner, and/or check the electrical connections to it

The bike was bought as a repairable write off from the auctions, I only replaced the injectors because they were stuck open so the bike was running too lean, I asked them can they fix it but they seemed they had no idea was thinking about taking it to cnc cycles in dandy Victoria apparently he's the guru and yes I have replaced everything myself, could it be a pressure issue with the fuel pump, because I had changed over the internals of the tank to a new one I could have ruptured something?

Take it to CNC. He's a sponsor and he will give you clear advice on what needs to be done and how much.

I think as you have done everything so far yourself, get software that lets you see what is going on, & tell's you fuel pressure from pump, if it is low, see if there is a kit to rebuild, or get new pump. that way you will learn youself. also get workshop manual. harleys are very simple.

Quite possible something is leaking inside the tank from when you changed the bits over. The output hose inside the tank has a green oring on it where it pushes into the regulator/pump housing that can disappear when pulling it apart. Take the fuel cap off and turn the key on. Listen for major leakage inside the tank while the pump is running.
