I have been looking for bike suitable radar detectors and came accross this site www.dontgetcaught.com.au they sell a whole range of detectors for bikers. Some are pricy but if it saves a fine, loss of points and ultimately license, it may be worth it.

Just remember the fine for operating a radar detector is about $1,500 in NSW

Something you will need to be aware of Bob,is that the cops have radar detector detectors, so they know you have one and have used it. Big fines as well.

Get a radar detectot detector detector...thatll do it...

Dont think ya get fined in WA for using radar detectors as they are still available over the counter........

not against the law for use in WA.... and maybe not in NT

The Cops take away all the fun don't they.

From what I can glean out of the info re these detectors is that they are not detectable by the cops, they don't send out a return signal, I am aware that speeding is not the smartest thing to do but  when I last got done it was only a couple of little lines on the speedo dial which equate to about 5-7 kmph over the limit.
