G'day All,
As many before me, I've been lurking around the forums for some time and have enjoyed all the forum has to offer.
As the subject title says, I'm in Melbourne (Point Cook) and have riden and owned many bike over the years, my fist bike was a PW50 when I was 5 years old and my latest being a Z1000 (sold) now 30 odd.
I've been keen to get on a Harley for a few years and have now dicieded to make the purchase. Coming into the winter, EOFY and with the 2016 model release not to far away, dealers are offering deals on floor stock and current models, so as a rule, what sort of money would you expect to save? I’m predominately looking at either a slim or breakout (leaning more so towards the slim).
Im expecting dealers to do the up-sell with pipes and the other parts, but is it worth doing pipes, air-cleaner, tuner and other stuff straight up or just doing the deal on the bike?
Anyway, looking forward to reading and hopefully contributing to the forum in the future.
Cheers,
Deano
Welcome Deano , work out which bike you want , and exactly what extras you want . Then go to dealers and haggle . Try country dealers as well . they may have your bike in stock .
LOL, Sixthsense seems your key got stuck, don't worry it's happened to me too.
hey deano & Ajay
