Hi Fellow Riders,
Don't know if I read it on here or on another forum, but I read about fork extensions for the Breakout. I see you can buy them from the states and apparently they do lift the pegs a slight amount. (I live on top of Mt Mee QLD. so a normal ride turns into a slow peg scrape all the way down and then back up again) If anybody knows about these or has done this, I do have a few questions..
1. Will insurance cover my bike. 2. How hard are they to fit
Cheers
I had this done at Quick Fix Harley Mildura, the owner there Gavin has done a few now, it does improve steering and raises the scapy bits too. I think Gavin said he uses new Wide Glide tubes for that extra 2". It's what there doing in Harley shops in Aus and the USA. I have insurance through Harley and it's all covered.
Thanx Thereyougo for the reply,
Sounds great, any idea on what it cost you and a pic would be nice to see what the Mod looks like..
Once again, cheers

Here are the pics of the wide glide tubes on my Breakout, does it make a differance, Hell yea, does it make it handle any better, don't know, but what I do know is that it takes a few rides to realise that you aren't going to scrape pegs on every intersection, or tight corner......
To look at it by itself, you probably wouldn't even notice that it has had the tubes extended by 2.1/2".......
