So where I park is a touristy area, im 2 floors up and my bike is pretty much parked right below me, so I can see it all day.

Now a lot of tourists take pics of themselves near it (5-6 a day at least), but quite a few of late have been climbing onto it, letting their kids get on it... Its a cultural thing, generally the people doing it come from a certain region of the world, I get that they dont understand, but still it bugs the hell out of me (not to mention scuffs in the paint, marks on the exhaust)
The lifts in my building are slow as hell so usually theyre long gone by the time I get down stairs.

Short of putting a sign on it.. What suggestions are out there? Is there some sort of security thing where I can press a button and it would chirp the alarm? Can the stock alarm (2015 model) be set to be more sensitive?

    bike cover, sign and intercom.

If you get the bike cover the wont see it or want to jump on it.

would be best to park off the street somewhere secure

First world problem. Your bike is so good that people want to get photographed with it and kids sit on it and you don't like it. Go down there and talk to the tourists. You'd be a hit. Help the kids get on safely and you might even get to bed the odd hitchhiker. Win win. Put a cover over it when the shop: read chick magnet is closed. Cheers

Woman driving Saab asked me once if I minded if her kids had a sit on my bike. I said no worries, if me and my mates can sit in your car.

It's a problem, agree those from certain regional zones just jump on no asking etc.

I now have a thin wire rope and lock and sit my jacket over rest/seat and doesn't seem to happen anymore.

I had an issue once with my old duke monster when a guy just sat on it at a bike show. Didn't realise it had an auto retracting side stand and nearly dropped the thing when getting off. I wasn't there but a mate was and luckily he got there and caught it before it hit the deck.

eBay $30 bike alarm I put on mine for when my son walks past it at night if he bumps it in the dark it wakes me up and scares the shit out of him. You just wire it up to + - and forget the other wires and it's loud as hell. That's the best way to stop them and you'll get a lough out of it looking down as it Go's off or you can set it off by remote when they get close. They have around a 50mtr range with the remote.
