Hi guys, being new to HD's do you get your oils, gaskets, cables etc from HD dealer or is there someone else in the Perth area thats good for that sort of stuff ?

    Cheers.

I get mine from Perth HD or Frasers and you also have American Motorcycles in Vic Park and Supercycles in Osborne Park

Lol sounds like you are just about to find out about the Harley Tax TK and it ain't cheap!

Oil from Stateswide in Welshpool, V-Twin Mobil 1. Phil Lewis is the man there, he's always given me (and many others) the discount you just need to let the receptionist know to put it on Phil's account and pay the cash. From memory I thinks it's around $108 for a box.

I use Fraisers for..............oh yeah nothing terrible service and very little knowledge.

Perth HD is a little better, so I use them for serviceable parts such as oil filters and plugs.

American Motorcycles and Supercycles are over priced IMO you can buy the same aftermarket stuff from M&M and even with postage from the US it's usually cheaper, however I guess it depends on the strength of the Aussie dollar against the greenback.

Thundertech (Mundaring) are the best indy (imo) and I also like the stuff that Westside Custom do in Kelmscott.

You can also see Greg (look in the WA section) who you will find is very helpful with regards to showing you how to service you bike correctly if you want to do it yourself rather than pay someone else.
