Couple pieces of U bent re-bar strategically set into the concrete (even below surface in hollowed out area so you dont stub your toe)for locking down big valuables. I've seen them also placed at end of each bay to hook those cheap winches to to pull trailers, vans etc into place without breaking your back.

Plenty of power sockets, a wifi repeater or data cabling for the computer, phone

Strong Cupboards set high and off the floor, storage in the roof space

Optional bright white lighting. Amazing how hard it can to see in the shed these days

A reinforced section in the roof to hang an evap air cond

Smooth concrete, easier to sweep and resist oil staining, also pushing bike around on those trolley / lifts

Separate space off to one side for good tools, bench / bench grinder / polisher / drill press / vice.

Wall mounted flat screen TV preferably near the bar. A small fridge

    Power roller doors

Good luck and post pics of your man cave

Paint the floor with epoxy industrial floor paint it's pricey but worth it Or you will be sick of concrete dust , pallet racking so you can use it for storage as well as work bench space and even at 6 x9 it will be still too small lol

Yep too small. If you have the space go bigger. You can never have enough space. My man cave is 8m x 12m under the house and still too small! bugger.
Double power points on or near every wall stud.
And if possible, have a double sliding door on one side with a covered bbq area attached. Bewdy Newk!

Would make it 3 mtr high, and Add Insulation under roof. If you are talking about the thin joiner between the two roller doors ( Mullion), I have seen 2 mates garages where strong wind blew the doors inwards at the join in middle. I would rather have a fixed centre.

A bike lift and mobile stool will make working/cleaning/polishing a lot easier as well as getting across to the fridge..

Depends really on what you intend to do in your garage.

"Toilet, shower and woodheater" Almost makes it sound like you want to get away from the missus, least you didn't list a bed.

Agree with the other blokes, make it as large as you can. Sheds have a habbit of filling up quick.

40 amp power point for a welder.

Oh, don't forget a Whirlybird on the roof, great to remove condensation.

A mezzanine level for storage and plenty of insulation in the walls and roof.

    Yep, 3 phase power.

Separate woodwork section, metalwork section, clean mechanical section. 8 ball table, dart board, shooting range. High pressure water blasting section (karcher etc),cribb room. Overhead hoist for pulling engines out of cars. good dust and fume extraction set up.

    Mmm, sheds.

So much more fun than houses.

+1 on the insulation, old shed had none but new (to me) shed has insulated walls, bloody tshirt weather in there with Coonara going in middle of winter. Run ethernet cable from house (if possible), mine acts like a faraday cage which isn't a bad thing sometimes.

don't forget the power outlet over the top of were the pool table is going with the switch over on the wall.

a window or vent at the other end from the door or thee will be no natural airflow

Put in a column/pole mounted swing out jib to put your block and tackle on so that you can lift heavy items like engines, machinery out of a trailer etc.

They take up no space and are super handy.

You also need a comfortable Chair.

    Something like this one perhaps?
