I must be an old sheila, all over the shop.

Anyway, revisited my original dream and after considerable research found a 2013 Road King that ticked all the boxes.

    One very happy camper.

BTW I seem to be having trouble posting and Add reply and editing, resorted to Quick reply, is it my end????

Yeah looks like red, but its called Candy Orange.

Haha Baloffski, Actually the guy I bought it off was a mexican having moved here a few months ago, thankfully for me.

He has gone with the Willie G theme so there is skulls everywhere. The skull/horn lights up.

I'm one fortunate bastard a 2013 One owner Road King with 45K's.

    It runs like a dream

This guys fitted a lot of stuff and i got boxes and boxes of the original bits.

A bit dusty here, will have a fiddle and exploration over the next few days.

I believe is fitted with a stage 1 screaming eagle kit, I spotted a little yellow box, is this a dealer only tool or can you get an program etc.

More will be revealed I guess.

Congrats on your new ride Kappy ,,,
The yellow box is /should be a harley SE race tuner. Google harley SE race tuner and see if it is the same . You say, "I spotted a yellow box". Where is it located ??
The SE race tuner is a flash tuner, ie, you flash/ tune the ECM , and then remove the tuning device from the bikes data connector , (behind left side cover)... Most then store the tuner,(yellow box), in their garage, some store the tuner on the bike somewhere if a problems arises on the road, and they can get to a dealer, etc ..

If you have a aftermarket air cleaner and slipon mufflers installed , plus the tuner with the bike, its fair to say you have had a stage 1 download , or a professional tune .... If you can contact the previous owner he should give you the heads up on this....
Either way , its a big plus having the tuner. The only thing to confirm , (and this is a long shot), is that the tuner (the yellow box), is the tuner that was used to tune your bike ... The SE race tuner is a one bike one tuning device !!! Funny things can happen when you buy anything second hand .... But as I said above , this is a long , long shot , and all should be good, just something to be aware of !!!!!

    Thanks Mark,

When I say I found it, it was in a box of goodys, original pipes, headers etc, the previous owner gave me the drum on it, he said it was a stage 1 kit.

I was just curious if it was a dealer only use or was it possible to download a program, for the future.

As I had to trailer home, went for my first real ride today, into town, (I live in a rural enviroment gravel roads) sweet.

Filled up with Premium, as we only have 91 and 98 no 95.

A few minor adjustments as I get to know her.

I thought this thread was about eelo and his quest to find a tourer. wink

Even if he is a tyre kicker, what about his needs?

Why don't we start a new thread "Kappy gets a tourer" It is a nice red one though. cheeky

Well, if this is the one it has the goods. Seems to be kitted out very well.

I trust that we'll find out soon enough.

Spook, it's okay. If it was RED, it would take away from your ride. We need you to stand out!

All it needs is a set of RED valve caps and there you have it! Come on eelo, get on the plane and ride it back..............

While in the Albury are for a few weeks recently, I stopped in at Phil's Garage, Wagga Rd Lavington, and spied a nice looking metallic Red tourer, can't remember exact model / year but thinking it may have been between '10 - '12.  Had done around 70,000 kms though, but looked to be a pretty clean and honest bike, selling for around $18 K.  It caught my eye, but am not in the market for another bike in the near future.  I will see if I can find an advertisement for it, and post up here, or call 02 60400072.
