    G'day people

Looks like I have finnally found an active forum

I am trying to find out what speed equals what revs in what gears, If you have a tacho on a 08 Standard with original rear tyre can you let us know what speed is 5000 or 5500 or what ever revs your into.

My 08 Standard has 1400 klm on the clock and is booked for stage 1 next week, would like to make sure me not the spanner spinner is the first to rev her out.

    Cheers

    Hi Deadly

A link that may interest you

They are a mini tacho. looks like you can make them fit 2004+ bikes,

I haven't riden with a tacho for so long now I don't know what I would do with one.

Thanks for the link BlackDragon, interesting little thingy, may get one just to find out more about how I ride which would help plan enigine mods.

Thanks for the graph Fatboy, I'm no longer concerned by the odd fang up to 120 in 3rd and will never ride below 1800 rpm again. Crank shudder hammers the piss out of bearings and cases where as higher revs only wears though a bit of fuel.
