    Hi All

I have a 2014 Street Glide, the majority of my riding is two up and I haven't found the standard rear shocks with 2" of travel overly suitable. Also being vertically challenged, I did not want to raise the rear suspension height drastically to improve the ride. After numerous hours of researching pros, cons and prices I decided on an Air Ride Kit from the States. Costing was $700 AUD delivered and the kit appears to be of high quality from Dirty Works.

The kit comprises of air shocks, compressor, dump valve, relay, wiring, toggle switch, air lines and fittings. I also purchased the compressor mount for the 2014 model.

Fully slammed the shock length is 9.5" and fully extended is 14". The length is controlled by the user via the toggle switch to compressor and dump valve. With the bike fully slammed the rear wheel still clears the guard and there is about 3" clearence between the underside left muffler and the ground.

I have found the ride quality more compliant than standard, still being slightly firm but not harsh. While I realise it's not for everybody, it suits my needs, have attached a few pics of the install

    Cheers

    Auldy

I have learnt over the years that you normally get what you pay for.

Not too much long distance riding but the Minister for Finance likes her comfort

Lunch at George 1V Picton today and a run around the Oakdale Walacia area
