Was wondering when someone would call her a Deluxe, China. Probably looks like one now, but she started off as a Heritage. When the wiring loom fucked up, Mark, the air waves turned blue for a while, and the tech advisor is still hiding! Last time I listen to her advice.wink When i can coax her out of her kennel with some Goodo's i'll grab a shot . Takes a while to do the write ups , but i hope it helps someone along the way.

Bike is a work of art Winger. Thanks for taking the time to document (with excellent photos) your shotgun shock installation. That's the type of member dedication that makes this a great site for all things Harley. Well done. I look forward to seeing you on a local bike ride soon.

    Cheers Steelo

Gong down to the SA HOG Rally at Victor on the Long Weekend, Steelo, and basing ourselves at the Beachside caravan park, so hopefully we can catch up with a few of the larrikins on the forum while we're down there.

Hey Squid, see you're on the Yank forum also. I get a lot of good stuff from there as well. Some very nice bikes on there. I'm getter better at finding the right spot between height and suspension ride when solo or two up. I can't believe how plush the ride is, and the confidence to take corners without the usual Softail wallow gets better every time I take her out. We probably should ask JD if he wants an Aussie franchise set up. He would have two of his biggest advocates to sell them. Then again, they sell themselves!!! Looking forward to your next install. Cheers.

Dammit! Someone beat me to it. Seriously, though, no reason to not  deal with JD direct. He ticks all the boxes, and then some, with delivery and after sales service. Thanks for that PM . SDMF. Saved me some embarrassmentblush

Haha yeah we are too late. It's much cheaper to buy them direct from JD, so don't worry, it was still worth the extra week wait. I'd definitely buy them again, as you know they're a great all round shock for any occasion at the flick of a switch

Yeah that yank forum is tops, so much information on the latest and greatest parts. The fact there so many users on it, there's so many great bikes and ideas to get from there. It really brings you up to speed on what's out there that most of us guys over here haven't even heard of. Not sure if you found it yet but I'm certain I've seen a couple threads devoted to heritages and deluxes on there

Two nice bikes guys ,, well done ...

Hey Winger, I've been away , and missed the pics of Suzie ,, Good to see she is out of the dog house !!! I can understand she would be pissed off at not allowed to go for a ride, after all the technical advice she gave .... Cheers ....

Hey Mastema, I just saw these classy  pics  cos I haven't been in the thread for a while. Told ya , didn't I? Best value for your buck you can add to a Harley, I reckon!. Your 'Luxe looks brilliant with the pipes and dumped down as you can. Classic look! You should send the pics to JD's Facebook page where he features a bike every week that has been Shotgunned. The Yanks don't have great taste in most things, but they love their Deluxes. I'm sure they'd love to see some down home Aussie craftsmanship. Stop playing with those switches-Haha! Enjoy, Mate.
