Its a rolling noise from the left side of the rear wheel, kinda wowh wowh wowh, gets louder and faster the quicker you go but the pipes eventurally drown it out. Really loud with the engine off and just coasting. Could it be the wheel bearing? Someone on the 1130cc site said his wheel bearings went with just 2000 miles on the bike, mine has just 3000kms. Is this anything in the pic? looks like a leak

    Hey Paul

looks like the bearing is damaged as it no longer seals in the grease.
Jack it up & grab the top & bottom of the rim & rock the wheel checking for movement.
Sometimes its hard to tell with the tension on the belt, if you cant see any loosen the belt and try again.

    Cheers

Ring the Stealers let them pick it up, I'm assuming you have only done 3000 K's so still under warranty, get them to change both sides of the rear wheel bearings.

I wouldn't be riding it in case the bearing locks up.

Don't forget there is also a bearing in the pulley/cushdrive hub assembly. That oil/grease may be from this bearing, and there is a chance that this one is stuffed. But also could be wheel bearing.
But if under warranty still, get dealer to fix. If out of warranty, take the wheel off and have a gander.
