Im about to get a frame painted  and the question in my head is powder coat or paint , this is a kraftech frame that hasnt got old paint on it . So either way you go which is the best place nearest to Newcastle ?

Powder coat is all I have ever done on my jap bikes two Harley frames and a Kraftech most powder coaters
Sand blast it any way so it's clean anless it's chrome and if that's good thay go straight over the top
And it's cheap to get done you will have to clean up wear there is any bearings run or bolt threads

And also blow out any excess sand out of the frame  you don't want that staying in there and getting wet latter on

In both cases look at getting the frame phosphate plated before coating, ask anyone in the industry and most will do this first.

The company that you use to powder coat or paint your frame, should be able to do it themselves or know of a company that can do it for them.
