Hey guys,
I am looking at a secondhand 103 motor for my wideglide but can tell if the one I'm looking at is the a, or the b motor. Is there any easy way to tell by looking at it or by the engine number?
i will attach a pic but it my load the wrong one as it always does when I'm on the iPad.
Cheers.
Looks like the "A" motor.
"B" motor has an extended case front & rear to accomadate the balancers. The front section of the "B" engine extends forward & under filter boss where the "A engine has no extention.
Yep I agree looks like an A motor, can't see from the angle but B motor has oil feed attachments where oil lines come off to go to the oil tank
