Anyone had dramas with paint on their dynas? At the very top of my black fork lowers the paint looks like it's bubbling and on the black headlight surround too. Bikes goin in for service soon going to bring it up with the dealer. Anyone had similar? 

My 2014 has the bubbling on the bottom of the forks, just above the axle... Plus the spokes & front indicator stems have already begun to rust... 5 month old bike, not friggin happy. 

Yeh for the money you think it would be top notch. I'll let ya know how the trip to the dealer goes I'm hoping they don't try blame it on me and just get it fixed. Would be diff on a 5 yr old bike but not a new one

there was a thread on the same topic recently. I don't know how many people have been having problems with the paint but it certainly seems to be an issue

Yeah? I had a search but couldn't find too much on it. It would be worth a read just to see if everyone's having similar problems and how the dealers are resolving them

Yeah that's exactly where mines going. Where the chrome meets the black. And the edge near the glass on the black headlight surround.

mine had a big bubble that poped near the head where the tank connects to the frame...

dealer replaced the tank last week 

and oddly the new tank is a slightly different design (black where it connects rahter than the sunglow red that i had)

Yeah maby they did that to address the issue?were they willing to fix it pretty easy or was it a drama? My bikes booked in for service next week I told em they are gonna have to look at the paint over the Phone and they said they will deal with it when they can see it

initially they raised it as a warranty claim...

but then apparelty harley wouldnt warranty it but the dealer (harley heaven melbourne city) said they will replace the tank anyway...

there were a few radial cracns and this one buble that poped... its small but large when i just bought it (first time brand new bike) 

havent taken a photo of the new tank.. but that whole tab is black now.. 

touch wood i dont find other paint issue..... 

Hi, my 2015 has the black substance underneath the nut, so the nut does not touch the paint
 

My 2015 Dyna has a black ring there instedaed of paint

In the above picture the black looks raised but its actually below paint level . it looks alike someone ground the paint away and painted from black stuff where the paint was

u know what I was told by another manufacturer yr,s ago ah u live 2 close 2 beach so is problem that cannot b solved ,move away inland an problem may go away .Anyway we buy bikes 4 there name now so ,we jus gotta suk it up an either powder coat everything that will go sour or chrome parts ,but if so we will pay 4 at our exspense ,but 2 b different doe,s cum at a price ,or do we all want plastic fairinged type bikes rest of our lifes ,I don't so HD not perfect as ive mentioned b 4 in regards 2 paint an other4 details ,u can winge all fukin day or jus deal with it an move on fix da shit yourself ,an if chose right fixer of said problem then can rest in bed knowing you've made amends 2 bike by best available rejuvenator available ,its an ongoing process A shingles
