i had the low fuel light come on with the second tank of fuel i put in.it would turn on n off then came on all the time they found it had a small hole in it(the float in tank which turns the light on)which let fuel in which set the light off all the time. i ttook it to dealer n they replaced the float since then the light has been ok this was before i fitted the thunder max to my bike. i have all so read they had problems with i think it was the 07 bikes with the fuel light harley made a kit to fix problem but i think your bike is a bit newer, hope this helps you out
