I've had these on my Breakout for about five months, with a Stage 1 kit fitted. I've been back to Harley twice and want to go back yet again. It just doesn't sound right...............it cracks and pops like hell up in the high range coming off the throttle...........I've been told the mapping is right.............but now and then I get backfire, not as much the first time they were fitted!!!

I had V&H side shots on my Sportster (I know a smaller) engine, but those pipes just roared and sang

HUGE disappointment with these Bassini's..............give me a time machine, I wouldn't have them fitted !!!!!

Who did the tuning and was it a proper custom dyno tune or just flashing a canned map?

+1 in regards to the tuning.
Sounds like you need a touch more fuel "off" throttle.

Harley dealer did the tuning, who shall remain nameless at the mo......

First time I collected the bike, I seriously thought it was going to blow up my legs when I roared down the road, the backfire shit the life out of me!!!!!
