Hi guys, I love the look of the Lepera Bare Bones on a dyna.. Low and sleek. Just wondering who here uses one and if it's as hard on your backside as what everyone says. I used to be able to feel the frame rails on my sporty seat as I scuplted it out.. Surely couldn't be as bad as that?

Also, if anyone is selling one or wants to part with their 06+ up Lepera Bare bones, I'm looking to buy one, im around Sydney.

    Thanks fellas

I will personally confirm that their comfort is shit. I wouldn't want to ride over two hours on one

I've got one that came with my 04 FXDL, it looks great on the bike, but it only ever stayed on the bike for one trip and now it sits in the garage doing SFA, speaks for itself really.

Depends on your bike and riding style more than anything. Also where you ride. Took my bare bones for a 4 hr ride last Sunday. Couple of hour stop in the pub. Was getting a bit sore by the time I got home.
    For long highways not great.

But in the hills where your moving a bit isn't bad at all.
    Just my 2 cents

Very interested in this thread, the seat that came standard on my Bob looks like one of those old things off a tractor tractors or what tennis refs used to sit on, but I ride every day to and from work and on the weekends so as much as I love the look of the Bare Bones I'm not sure if it would be a good investment. Any other suggestions? The Harley Brawler? The Sick Saddles range (they're cheaper than the Bare Bones and have a similar look)? Any of the Mustang seats? Or what about the Bare Bones with their Biker Gel insert?
