Thx for the thumbs up on the paint.

Was tossing up between Vivid Black and Denim when I saw the two tone. Thought it would be a little different. It's Vivid Black / Amber Whiskey (mmmm Whiskey).

Due to a small tech issue, oil weep, gave it the once over to remove the shop dust, and mechanics paw prints etc.

Oh and you are indeed blessed if you have two dogs. An old sheep dog trick really, always have an old dog and a whippersnapper on the go. The old dog teaches the new one 90% of what it needs to know !

Always had dogs around since I can remember.
Sometimes pets, sometimes working dogs, sometimes they were both.

When I'm beach fishing on a freezing night at 2am with the wind sandblasting my arse, and all the other folks are long gone....... my dogs are curled up near the tackle box with one eye open watching my back.

Best burglar alarms you can have too!

Nice Bike. I guess I babied mine. Since it is dead flat where I ride I guess my revs are low. 3,500 rpm is like entering warp speed compared to my Sportster.

Just dropped the oil having done 62ks. Glad I did, you could see the 'glitter' by shining a torch through the oil. No chunks or chips ( any would be in the filter I'd wager ) but a discernible difference to fresh HD 360.

Will do the oil and filter next, this time at 200 ish and see if I've got all the debris out.

Hate to think what it would be like at 1000m / 1600ks on a first service.

Good work on the early oil changes.

I've done that for near on 20 years with new Harleys and I've never had an "oil burner" yet !

And I've seen a fair few of those over the years

Getting used to the sled. It's a big change from a 1300cc high performance japper.

    A good one though.

Foot board touched on a corner on the way to the Weir Hotel, Mr HD has them hinged, ??.........so it was nothing more than a "chill man..... enjoy the ride"

    And I did.
