Hey guys and girls, First time post. First time Harley owner. I recently bought a Harley 48 11' model and cant get enough of it. It came with VH big radius exhausts which sound nice enough but manage to scrape when turning right sometimes, no real biggie but my main concern is the look of the pipes. Im after something a little more Jap inspired and was wondering if anyone has used or is using an easyrider exhaust. I was after any info re. purchasing, performance and ofcourse sound. I have found the ones im after on webike.com however its a japanese translated website and Im never to sure about whether they are instock or not, or how long it will take to ship.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Thanks mate. Niether had I until I bought a harley. Easyriders Japan is the english version of the site. They do some pretty epic bolt on parts for sportsters mainly. Cheers

Yeah fair enough lads, I reckon the japs do some pretty sweet things to Harley's, look at blokes like HIDE and cherrys customs, these dudes are real fabricators, from the ground up builds. I'll check out the D and D Bobcat exhausts mate. Thanks a lot .

I haven't heard a Bike with those Pipes but I can tell you that the custom Bikes that Ive seen running in Japan arn't that loud, It's got me fucked how quite they are once you see the Exhaust they make. The guys a Easy Riders should be able to tell you how many Db the Pipes are

I've been to easyriders in tokyo, really friendly guys and the bikes the build are beautiful.
I bought a seat from them and it's great quality, well priced and thankfully doesn't look like every other seat out there..

As for their exhausts, without knowing exactly which one, I'm guess you are talking the shorter straight pipes they make? They are FCKN loud.. Really really freakin loud, yes they offer baffles but it didn't make much difference (the psychedelic 60s style sportster in their catalogue was on the floor, it had baffles and good god it was loud).

I beleive the Harley guys in reservoir (name escapes me right now) can import their stuff, I'm sure they don't deal direct.

And as for 'we don't japify a harley'.. C'mon man, the Harley scene there is HUGE..

Thanks for the posts lads. I will have to do some more research. I want the look of the shotgun mid hieght exhaust but I cant be bothered building another bike that is a cop magnet. Cheers.

Enjoy your new ride, good to see someone that wants something different.

Vance & Hines they always made Suzuki performance pipes when i got my first HD.

There has been a comany in Japan that have built tuned & raced Sportsters since the late 70's, they raced at Daytona.
