Mike, I don't know how they paint the bikes in the factory. I made a rack for my swag and got it powder coated black at a local paint shop. Its a big fukin swag so I tie it on with two ratchet straps and I pull it down tight. I took the rack off today and inspected it with a magnifying glass and there is not even a fukin mark on it. cost me 60 bucks though. When he told me it would cost $70 I offered him fifty and we settled at $60. Pretty good value for a top quality job.
