Favorite side to lean?

Out riding on some twisty roads recently,  it came to me that I preferred leaning into left curves rather than right.

Up or down hills made no difference.

Do you have a preference of lean sides?

Left has always seemed more natural

I think turning left is easier because when you go turn right you have to operate the throttle as well as counter steer. That's what the riding instructor said to me when I did my licence. I was always faster through a lefty than a righty.

Left always seems more natural and always wondered why.

More so to the left as my exhaust scrapes to the right and it really throws me so I am always consious of it...

I think its because we ride on the lefthand side of the road. You subconsciously have the otherside of the road as buffer (yes I know oncominf traffic, etc, etc). People dont like to go into corners as hot when leaning right, as youre usually already close to the edge of the road ... jusr saying

To the left. Slightly less lean angle on the right due to pipes sitting a tad lower with a relatively recent new exhaust bracket. Need to adjust that to return to not worrying about the pipes. Having lived overseas for a long time and riding the same bike in Canada and the US, side of the road makes little difference if you ask me, because the technique for arcing through curves is the same (it's always a function of degree of curve and visibility of exit, etc).

Being left handed I naturally favour the right lean

Prefer right side lean, it only wears away the exhaust bracket.

To the left wears away the bottom of the primary case, and I wont be surprised to see it drip oil one day....
