just wondering who has 60 or 80 spoke rims and what their thoughts are on keeping clean etc

I like 60's, as I think the 80's just look to "busy". Each to their own though. Either way a spoke rim is going to be a lot of work if you want to keep it pristine

60 spokes and run lyndell brake pads better braking and a shit load less brake dust 80 just look to much

I agree I thought about getting 80 spoke but it looked abit much so went with the 60 spoke and I reckon it looks great. Takes abit to keep clean but 80 would be worse

Pfft, 60 spoke. Go 80 or go home.

Not hard to clean at all. Bit easier when they are powder coated but I put my bike on one of those repco bike lifts and sit on a computer chair and go to town.

 

 

The mammoth do look good deadwood but give it time you will be sick of cleaning them ,even harder with twin disc lol hope your running lyndells

These aren't mammoth, just normal spokes that look a bit thicker because of the powder coating. I don't have any issues cleaning them, the white walls are what fuckin gets me. Don't like Lyndals either, too harsh on the discs.

Pressure washer will clean any

can anyone tell me if cruzin customs is still open?

 been trying to get intouch about a 19 inch front wheel they have advertised but it keeps on going through to the message bank

stock is 40, thats light especialy if you use alloy rim, even lighter. i'm wondering if having 80 holes in the rim it could eventually split in half?
