These seem to be okay.  Has anyone got/used one and has an opinion?  Should read Dynatek sorry cant edit the heading.

The Delphie ECU is quite capable of managing the fuel mapping so why do you want to spend approx $900 ($360 for the autotune + $470 for the required controller + $70 freight) on an add on that is only going to dump more fuel into the engine?

Thanks grahamjb, I apologise as Im a bit of a newby to the HD engines etc. I have an 07 fatboy that as far as Im aware is stock apart from a set of what I believe are some sort of drag pipes fitted (no markings) I thought that if the pipes, air cleaner etc. were changed in any way I needed some sort of tuner to change the mapping. Like I said I dont know much about this. Anyway I am thinking of changing the pipes to a 2 into 1 set up and probably put a decent air cleaner on as well. Hence looking at different tuners to put on the bike. I was looking around on the net and found the Dynatek and thought it might do the job. Add to that I dont know what a Delphie ECU is, I take t thats the stock one thats on the bike? Sorry for not making a lot of sense but Im attempting to learn. Cheers.

Binnsy - no need to apologise, the point of my reply was do you really want to spend $900 for extra electronics added in series to your bikes computer? The links below might help explain things in simple language to make understanding the tune process easier

The Delphie will self tune to compensate for a stage 1 air cleaner or a set of mufflers but if you want to maximise the tune, you can use a TTS or the HD Super Tuner Pro. Either of these will set you back approx. $400 but they get tied electronically to your bike so you have to buy a new one for each bike.

If I was in your position, get the dealer to load a map to suit your new mufflers and air cleaner or take it to reputable dyno tuner.

    Cheers

Mate those XIED gadgets seem the go. Have searched on the forum and there is some good feedback about them. They seem like they would be ok for what I want to do re the pipes air cleaner etc. Seems the more I read the more confusing it gets !!
