I've had a little look around the site and can't seem to find and answer I'm looking at getting the screaming eagle street tuner for my bike can i fit it myself or does a dealer need to fit it and tune it for me?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Mate

Never heard of a Screaming eagle street tuner.
I have a Screamin Eagle Pro Race Tuner and it connects to your bike via a serial cable in order to flash your ECU with your desired map. These Pro Race Tuners allow you to play with everything but I would recommend only performing the Smart Tune yourself.
Anything to do with the AFR and Valve Clearances, I would leave that to the experts.

No map included in the tuner. The tuner should save your original calibration when you first connect it to the bike. You will need to select the closest calibration from the calibrations included in the software on your PC. That is then loaded into the tuner in preparation for flashing the ECM.

BTW any particular reason you want the SEPST? I was in the same quandary when I first bought my tuner. I went with the TTS mastertune. There are some very knowledgeable people on the American HD forums. MR Wizard and Ultranutz in particular.

The Tuner comes with a flow chart to show you the exact steps in the tuning procedure. Whilst the whole tuning process will  be strange at first the support on the forums and from the manufacturer, coupled with the extra  features make the  TTS tuner a very competent device.
