So this is what I ended up with.

Almost ended up with HD geunie part but I pulled out on the last minute because 1. the abs box only came out in chrome. 2. too expensive. again, got the local guy to make the joint up (I had to take it out myself and just took the lines to the shop)..

Now.. can anyone advise on how to properly bleed the line with ABS module? Thanks in advance.

Looking for something similar except i don't want longer, all I want is to fit thorough crafts mini mx bars. the fitting coming out of the brake master fouls on the forks with the smaller bar on an ABS bike.

To charge up and bleed the new line I assembled it all back together on the bike and injected new fluid up from the caliper bleeder (plastic hose and large syringe). After letting it sit for 20 mins or so, injected more and repeated a few times. After there were signs of oil turning up in the reservoir, I topped up the res and vacced it the other way ... repeated a few times until I started to get pressure on the lever.

Bit weird changing methods but I wanted to make sure any trapped air was pushed out of the circuit. Once all that was done, and by the way it seemed to take forever, I took the bike for a run and used the brakes a few times, eventually giving them a good hard jab to cycle the ABS. Bit dumb but ... it worked well.

No issues after that. It wouldn't be a bad idea to set your brakes up the best you can and get a mechanic to cycle the ABS. UnfortunatelyI don't have that luxury here.
