As somebody said in a previous post the staff are dictated by management which is true. When I started there Ryan Kelly was in charge of HD sales and Alex was the workshop manager who was also my immediate boss. Both top blokes and would work for either of them any day.

Within a couple of months of being there they both left and also another senior manager left as well plus sales people left who had been there for over 10 years. I stuck it out in the service dept for about six months and it just got worst and worst every day so I told them to bash it up there arse. I went back to the construction industry for a while and just about to start a new job with Allwater on Monday.

    end of rant.

I would have thought most, if not all prices would be fixed across the franchises.

Of cousre trade in could be different, that depends on who wants your business more.

A second shop may make the other o e pull their socks up, thats if anyone goes back there.

Called in today for a fund raising sausage sizzle . Blown away with how many people there . Car park full , and inside full as well . So many new bikes with sold signs on them . Before they opened , we had to go to HH . Now it seems everyone want,s to go to Bikeworks .

Called in there this morning as well. Place was buzzing. Think they have done well and picked up a big following. Talked to some Vic visitors there this morning and they had been to the "other" one yesterday and said wtf they were rude to us in there. Walked in here and everyone said hello and they couldn't beleive how busy it was. I called in tere Thursday to book in for a service and everyone said hello and asked how the new bike was going. Good customer service makes a huge difference.

Totally agree, Graz. The 2 dealerships are chalk and cheese. Had the Fatty serviced a week ago, and you are greeted like an old friend, even though I didnt end up buying from them. The clincher for me, is that Steve ,their detailer, had the bike immaculate when I picked her up. Small things lead to great associations. A big thumbs up to ABW from me!

'Poor Country Folk' don't have rights to frugality.

You seem to have a chip on your shoulder.

You're a troll, mate. After you hijacked my thread, I saw your (unwanted) efforts on other threads like this one.
As I said, take your own advice....

Now if you just crawl back under your rock and stop hijacking threads, the forum can return to normal.
