Decided on a last minute run up to Bundalong for a night over Easter. My relo's have camped at "The Punt" for years and as Shazza was working all of Easter I thought it would be a good chance for a decent run. I even had a welcoming party greet me just 100m from camp, flashing red and blue lights and $295.00....out of my pocket, DOH. Anyway apart from that I had a ball, followed a couple of fellas from a local club for a little while on the Hume heading up at a clip that almost makes my fine laughable. Had a massive camp oven roast dinner and slept in the swag under the stars. 840 kliks all up and my arse felt every klm. Def need to get out on the bike more, getting soft in my old age!

Good on ya Burnzi. I envy you getting out there with the bike and swag. What did you do wrong to attract the ire of the local police? Wasn't being overheight was it? Proud of you for just getting over it and enjoying the trip.
I took an extra bungy cord cos I thought the swag would move around and I would have to put it across the seat, bloody thing did not move a mm. As for the red and blue reception, I should have pulled over and put my face mask on cos it started to rain just out of Wangaratta. Instead I thought I would just leg it and get there quicker, 113 quicker according to Mr Plod. Cant help stupidity!
Bundaberg hey.....mmmmm
Hey Mark for all the years I have been going up there I have never been into Bundalong. We used to waterski past there all the time. Always have a day at the pub in Rutherglen. Must go to Bundalong for a look, have always envied some of the riverside properties along there.
