I am adding some extra baffles to my Big Radius 2 into 2 to quieten them down – basically putting a small baffle inside the banana shaped baffle that is already in the pipes – this will reduce the flow by about 50% from what I can see. The bike (2009 FXSTSS3) has a Super Tuner installed.

Question – do I need to have it retuned or will the Super tuner handle it? Spoke to a Dealer Service Mgr and they were of the opinion that it would be ok (I would of thought that they would of said bring in in just to make some $$)  but would like other opinions.

I presume it's some kind of db killer baffle? I read somewhere that they make the bikes run slightly richer and although the sites selling them say it's only a very small change some buyers have said it was a bigger change than stated. I don't know shit about Super Tuners, but if they do a little auto tuning I'd just be watching how the bike runs. I'm sure someone in here is going to have a better response than mine though.
