    NRMA $487

Just check their excess fee. I'm insured with Swann fully and it only costs me $490 with a $400 excess.
Had a claim just before Christmas and bike was repaired asap. Couldn't be happier. Insurance wnet up $100 after claim

I did a quick quote and tháts whát I got quoted. Thát is for a 2013 Breakout market value, 51 year old rider, bike license 33 years, no accidents that were my fault ever, immobiliser fitted, $400 excess. Same parameters as NRMA.
No idea why the big gap.

I swapped insurers a few years ago, then a year later tried to swap back. Despite my details not changing they wanted an extra $300ish to insure me. Another insurer (going back a few years more) would get you to do an online quote, then ring you 10 minutes later saying how they reviewed your quote and think they can beat it. Beat their own fucking quote that they made 10 minutes before? WTF? I think sometimes they just try it on.

Swan was the cheapest for me , rating one with agreed value $440 , just watch them on the renewals , new customers get a better deal , I just phoned then and they matched original deal insure my ride won't do agreed value but was very similar , famous insurance was the cheapest at $330 but I had not heard of these guys before and was not sure how I'd go if I made a claim , shop around , no loyalty these days

Last year I rang NRMA about a Greenslip. They were almost $100 dearer then GIO. I spoke to a customer rep, they spoke to their supervisor and even though I had had a continuous policy with them for over 30 years they wouldn't match GIO. I changed to GIO, simple.

Insurance due on Monday so I rang GIO just to compare. $775.33. He said they offer better coverage yadda yadda but $300 better? Don't know if I should ring QBE. They say they will better any quote but if it's only a few dollars why bother.

In Feb I did all the research for full insurance on my 09 Sporty and of them all (about 5 quotes) AAMI was the cheapest by $100 and covered more - ie it included some funds for riding gear!

I rang everyone and they were in the $700 plus range except NRMA so I went with them. AAMI was the second dearest quote.
    Thanks everyone for your help.
