Hi guys. Just wondering if there's anyone out there that has encountered (and hopefully fixed) the same problem that I am having with my 2012 FXDC. This started today when I tried to start the bike and the battery was low. It turned over a couple of times slowly then started clicking. I have since fully charged the battery but it just keeps clicking. I even tried with jumper cables from my ute its to make sure it's not the bike battery.

Take a look at this https://youtu.be/mSFR7OFetRo

Any help or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advise so far guys. I've chexked the starter relay. It's funtioning normally. I have tried rocking back and forth also. I've been doing some research and I'm starting to think it's the starter solenoid.

Has anyone experienced a burnt out solenoid?

I was always told not to jump start a bike from a car with the car running because it causes damage.

Thanks to all for your help. I managed to get my hands on another battery today and she's a goer again. When I put the meter on my battery was reading 12.88V. With the ignition on it was about 12.3 and falling rapidly. I loaded it up and its plummeted to low 10's. Must've dropped a cell. New battery time.

I know the guy that owned the bike before me had changed the regulator under warranty. I'll run a few tests to see what's going on. Took her for a good hour and a half ride this afternoon. That should have it well and truly charged.
