    Hi to all,

Does anyone know a sure way to prevent scratching the paint with pillion? Didn't have to worry when I was single but now she wants to come along, used the rubber pads and still got scratched to the shit house!!! Just got the fender repainted but wondering if there's a better way? I've seen the suction pad ones but have heard mixed reviews. Couldn't find anything spot on with other threads.

    3m clear paint protection film.
    Virtually invisible if installed correctly.

Thanks mate will have a look for some next week. Do you know where would be most likely to have it? I'm guessing repco, supacheap etc?

The dealers sell it or an equivalent product if you can't find it cheaper elsewhere

    hey there Longy,
Ive got the danny gray suction universal pillion pad as I have a solo seat also and it works just fine, connects very firm and does not move, it has little tabs on the 6 rubber cups to break the suction to remove it, you wont get it off without the lift tabs, like I said for solid mount, comes in 2 sizes- narrow and wide. Rub a micro fibre cloth over fender to remove suction marks when removed
Its leather and was $159 from MCAS (motorcycle accessories superstore), they post Aus wide for 8 bucks regardless of order size or amount of items. Express delivery 1-2 days (CUSTOM SECTION OF THEIR WEBSITE) I think from memory
OR you could go for a rear fender bib perhaps rather than the permanent 3M clear.
Hope this may help you mate

I'll swing past there when everything is open again.

Sissy bar might be the way to go also. Have you rigged that up yourself or they make them? Sorry mate never had a need for a passenger before they all just went in the bin so pretty clueless
