The Rotary Club of Williamtown Inc. has organised a group of motorcyclists to conduct a marathon ride around Australia. The aim is to raise funds and awareness for our fight against Malaria. Few people are aware that Malaria, the third most lethal disease in the world, could enter our country at any moment.
One of the guys riding is a very good mate of mine who has been living in Laos since '87... another is from Longriders CMC and many of you will be aware that Lofy is a member of their Adelaide chapter.
If you get a chance to catch up say hi and help with this cause. They are encouraging motorcyclists to join them for as many days as can be spared and share in the journey to raise awareness of the increasing threat of Malaria.
I will try and organise something into or out of Melbourne....
