Hey Guys, new to the forum. I have searched through this forum aswell as many others and also googled it to bits. My question is; has anyone upgraded the front brake on a nightster or iron with a 19" spoked rim? if so, what did you do? i know about the xr1200 caliper and braided brake lines upgrade but have read it only works with cast alloy wheels or on the 48 which has a 16" spoked rim. Any imput is greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Hopefully you've found your answer in the past few months, but if not, the brembo off the Vrod or an 08 up tourer will bolt up to the 19" spoked wheel, but you'll need to match it to the slightly larger rotor and a master cylinder with larger bore; 1/2" bore matches pretty well.

Give a yell if you want more specifics or part numbers.

You don't say what year, but the 2001 to 2003 ?? FXS dyna use same forks so get the other leg for twin disc brakes a machinist can make a rottor fit to other side of a spoke wheel hub. i don't know who you talk to but i've used braided brake hoses on 16" 19" 21", front spoke wheels, lace on any size you want. but twin front brakes are the best!!!! just get a master to match v rods n road kings both use the twin front brake set up brembo the best  . a;so nice even both side of the front wheel brakeing.
