Hi All
I will be going for a RWC to get my bike on the road as I brought it unregistered ( HD sportser 48), Already installed on the bike is a genuine Harley horizontal side mount license plate holder with light. I have heard that these are not legal, however the law states as long as it is visable from 45 degrees from the center of the plate to the left or right and in a 45 degree arc its all good.
I have heard the vertical side mount plates that are bolted on the rear axel are illegal which i guess is understandable as there are visability issues.
has anyone gone for a rwc and had an issue with this ?
has anyone been pulled over by a cop regarding this ? apparently its a 3 demerit points and a fine of 350 in melbourne
