Very new to all this.

Always wanted a HD, yet have been riding a Ninja 300 for the past few years.

Finally made the switch last weekend and ordered a brand new Forty-Eight from HD Alexandria.

Hoping to get it soon!

No mods yet, so will be reading as much as I can on here as I start my money destroying journey!

Will post pics once the bike arrives, which will hopefully be this week.

Always the best idea to buy standard, mod later. What you think you like now will probably be totally different in six months, so better not to waste money now

Slip ons make a huge difference in the ride though, definitely worthwhile. 2014/15 have the balance pipe on the exhaust before the muffler so while it's easier to keep a good power curve, not all early model slip ons fit.

What colour did you get?

So, my bike arrived and it's been AMAZING. So much fun, always feel like riding it.

Only problem is that the ABS doesn't seem to be working. (Light is always on.)

I've been reading as much as I can about everything, which has confused me as much as I've learned, but I think I'd like to get a V&H short shots, Screaming Eagle air intake, and a FuelPak. Not sure how complicated all this is to install, so I'm after recommendations for an amazing instiller in Sydney.
