    Hey  Jilli

Welcome to the club (not a recommended club. Membership optional!)

First and foremost I'm glad you and Nic are OK.

You will heal in time and time is the bugger when getting the bike repaired.

Believe me.......you will never trust anyone in a car again. I still get cramps in my sphincter every time a car is arriving at an intersection at the same time as me. It takes a while to get over it.

Forget what's coming to the other guy. The bitch that hit me has still not fronted court, 6 months down the track. Using every trick in the book to delay. You get nothing out of it. They get a slap and you still wear the concequences.

Good to see your in good spirits (and I thought you were a chardy girl)

    Hi Jilli,
Sorry to hear this bad news, just keep smiling ay!!
Sounds like you need LAWYERS, GUNS AND MONEY.
Seriously, I'm not sure of the law in sunny QLD, but perhaps you should have a yarn with a legal type - that specializes in motor vehicle prangs,
'cause you may well get some loot out of this mess.
As for "guns", just imagine them when you're having a bad day caused by this.

Damn Jillie, been offline for a couple of days so missed this, sorry to hear about ya misadventure but glad to hear ya OK, find a good bike lawyer to assist ya, ask around, someone on the forum might know who to contact, most work on a no win no cost basis.

    Good luck

Hey Jill I just read what happened, so glad to hear you guys are ok. I'm not gunna give you any advice about getting back on your bike, that's something only you can decide but I know where I'd lay my bets. I'm sure everything will work out insurance wise and the scoot will look better than ever. It sounds like you did a good job of trying to pull the sporty up jill, I've heard of accidents the same as yours where the rider just froze and didn't make any decision and hit the car without even braking, and a mate of mine tried to swerve around the front of a car that pulled out in front of him but the driver followed him and he centre punched the car, so all in all you did very well. Josie says hi and get well soon, we are both thinking of you and if you need anything just holler.

Hi Jilli, Speedy recovery to you both, been there done that, if the young fella has been charged he is at fault, the insurance company might try to bluff you into paying your excess, if that happens all of us will give you the heads up on what to do!!
    Cheers

    OMG!!!
Shit Jill, so glad you (and Nic) are in one piece, guessing you are hurting though. I've been away with the dogs since Friday... Oh hell..... what a thing to read when I get back. Oh, and your poor bike..... I'd still be in the bath crying! Chin up mate, even though it's not going to feel like it, it really is a good thing that you are healing quicker than what your bike gets fixed / replaced; if it was the other way round... well let's not dwell on that!
Let me know if there is anything I can do....

    Hey Jilli,

glad to hear that you and your buddy are okay. The road is full of dickheads, when I'm out I just presume that I am invincible and that no one can see me and just be as careful as can be. Unfortunately as you found out there is every chance of just another smart arse punk who doesn't look properly/carefully.

I'm sure that you will be up and riding in no time.

Sorry to hear about ure Accident Jill, the same thing happened to me on an old iron head that I did up, I would think they will write off ure bike, any accident that you survive is a lot better than the alternaitive, Long hot baths are the best for bring out bruises. I hope you and Nic have a speedy recovery.

Definitely get back on as soon as possible. When I got hit in 2000 I rode as soon as I could get her off the
kick stand. You'll be a bit nervous (I was) but your confidence comes back quick! Good luck!
