    Rodders, serious

because they pay, they can advertise there competition bikes on a Harley forum, we have had better people banned for advertising a differant Harley forum!!!

    the power of the dollar

It is great you are sponsoring the forum and I have checked out and like the shields... but...If i wanted to find out about indian motorcycles I wouldn't be looking in the harley forum. especially as there are 4 or 5 points in the blog putting down harleys...

oh 100% understand, but also know for a fact a lot of Harley owners own other bikes and Indian's are a big favorite is all. We just wanted to share as HARLEY Owners what we thought of the Indian

A while back our local dealer principal showed off an Indian he'd bought, next to the dealership he was running at the time, if it's good enough for a Harley Dealer to buy one then I can't really see why a single post on a forum about them is causing people to get their knickers all in a twist.

Besides, I'm not sure bagging out a forum sponsor is the best way for the forum to continue to earn the sponsorship dollars needed to keep the forum running...

How about announcing the winners or losers of the two competitons you have been running on this Forum . Love the chance to win but love hearing who won even better !

Overall, the Harley aesthetic appeals to me much more than Indian, Victory and other "similar" brands. There's a bigger aftermarket for Harley as well which is very important to me.

That being said, there have been some Indians that I would not kick out of my garage. I don't mind the look of the Dark Horse and I like the name, but it'd still end up looking more like a Harley than anything when I was done with it.

    Wow! What reactions.

Prior to buying my 2008 Street Glide last year I did check out the Indians but just to see what the fuss was about. Only a couple of models then and no true market reaction of reliability etc. Give them another ten years or so before HD riders may considering crossing to the dark side.

    Time will tell.

    Fire away. ............

    I can't see what's wrong with that.
I don't know how many times Harley Dealers have been bagged on this forum and FFS, they are selling Harleys. Shit, Harleys get bagged from time to time.
As Rodders says, this is more an artical then a Infiltration.
The main thing is, This is a Harley Forum and will always be.

I have owned heaps of different bikes and still own and ride a few jap bikes never been a racist when it comes to bikes but those indians look dicky like nothing flows they look odballed like a mismatched abortion i think it is the gaurds mainly like some sort of wheel spat for a bike and the lines etc don't flow.
So i wouldn't buy one based on looks but hey they can be changed i don't like the look of the rocker c rear gaurd setup either.
