They must have had the place sussed out before hand to be able to get away with this,I thought my alarm would do the trick and stop people stealing my bike, but I guess not eh.There is a good book out called Dead Man Running ,if you like to read about bike groups and what they get up to.

anytime ya get a big group of people together like this, ya can guarantee there will be scum floating around the fringes looking to do just this, happens at Bathurst every year, cars go missing & never found, ya have to expect it & plan for it.
ya have to ta care & protect ya investments eh!
It goes to show that the alarm does jack shit !
Travelled up for the HOG Rally with 3 mates, between us we had 2 chains, 2 quality locks and another cable with lock. If they wanted ours they would have to work for it........or knock on the motel door and point a shoty at one of us and ask for the keys to the locks then tell us to go back to bed.
I had a close call earier this year, after being for a night ride ,returned home, no one in the street, I had the bike running in the yard as I went to open the garage door, when I came back, I spotted the guy in the shadow in the yard, when he realised I had spotted him, he took off out of the yard but stopped out in the trees on the footpath, I knew he was still there so I walked down looking for him when I walk straight on top of him.
He started going on about the bike, then wanted to know who I rode for, and would I like to ride with a club, I walked off very distrubered about the whole thing.
My new bike is now locked down with a heavy chain and anchor, but it is the others in the shed I am concerned about
a few friends i have who are in patch clubs have told me that they don't support it and will flog anyone in their circle caught doing it. it simply not accepted.
Suspose he could have been full of shit. Probably upset about copping shit for booking every bugger while bikes are being knocked off.
