In a bit of a pickle, ive broke the top plate that my headlight bolts to, this plate also houses my indicator, oil, neautral and high beams lights and the plate broke right through where these little lights sit, I do have another plate, but my problem is I need to remove each little globe from the small alluminim plate in order to fit the onto the new plate, and I cant get the big plug through the small hole, surely these wires wouldnt need to be cut on each light? any advise would be greatlt appreciated, the plate and lights are off my 1988 sporty see below pics

You can remove the wires from most plugs.
    Just google plug pin removal.

Mark the wires with insulation tape / Masking tape, writing on the tape what they are.

Or mark them with a permant marker.

Also take a photo after you have marked them.

I ditched the OEM plate and made up one from polished Stainless. I also only drilled two holes in the stainless and only recabled the neutral and Oil lights as the others were not used that often.
