Hi guys,

 

Sure this question must get asked a lot, so bear with me. I'm looking for a medium sized sissy bar for my 883 sportster mainly for tying luggage up to it but also something that looks classic aesthetically. I'm thinking 20-25inches and burly brand seems to be quite expensive. Any ideas and suggestions?

Anyway have you looked at genuine HD stuff? I've found their sissy bar/rack stuff to be pretty reasonably priced.

Personally I don't like having a sissy bar fitted all the time so found the genuine easy detatch sideplates to be a big help.

I put this on my new Iron 883. Wife and daughter really appreciate it for lower back support and looks okay. Comes with docking hardware but had to change the rear bolt and spacer to make it fit. It has bolt holes for a luggage rack but Scorpion either dont make a luggage rack for it or Cassons (the distributor) dont import it.
